About the project
The project aims to empower marginalized adults in Estonia’s Ida-Viru region and Sweden’s Skåne region—particularly stay-at-home mothers and economically disadvantaged individuals—by providing accessible, non-formal learning opportunities through the theme of sustainable fashion. It promotes lifelong learning, social inclusion, and employability by combining creativity, practical skills, and environmental awareness.
Through workshops, community activities, and the co-creation of educational materials, participants will gain hands-on experience in upcycling, ethical fashion, and sustainability practices. Educators will benefit from practical materials based on real experiences and best practices, ensuring long-term use and impact.
By linking sustainability with adult education, the project strengthens cross-regional cooperation, fosters civic engagement, and promotes common values of inclusion, responsibility, and participation.
